As requested by some of you, I finally made a simple tutorial about how to design in Blender 2.8 voxel style pixelated blocky landscapes or abstract geometries using two different techniques.
The main subjects in this video are:
Subdivisions, displace modifier, remesh modifier, camera depth of field in EEVEE and the fantastic Cubster addon.
